Wendy is married to Managing Director, Michael James, and is a co owner of Origin Fire. She is a qualified naturopath, reflexologist and has a graduate diploma in Business Management.

Wendy’s role as Operations Manager focuses on making systems and processes run more effectively and efficiently. She gets immense satisfaction seeing a system gain a life of its own and enjoys holding people to account when the changes are being rolled out.

Implementation and maintenance are important factors for a successful result to happen. She is working her way through the different business systems. Some of her key projects have been finance and HR.

She is a committed vegetable gardener and is passionate about environmental regeneration. When she is not in the office, she loves getting her hands in the soil and giving reflexology sessions. She has a passion for home renovation but is planning to scale this down to smaller projects, even considering furniture restoration as an outlet for her creativity!
