Origin Fire is known for our ability to provide fire consulting for unusual and challenging construction projects. To do this we take a first principles-approach to fire engineering. Instead of hearing “it can’t be done”, from us, our clients will hear “here’s how it can be done”.

Our team have many years of industry experience and technical knowledge and we pride ourselves on our collaborative and proactive approach. We are currently looking for someone to join our reputable team, in the role of Intermediate Fire Engineer, based in Auckland.

Day to day, your role will include, but is not limited to:

Crafting fire engineering designs that go beyond compliance, meeting our high standards.
Bringing your expertise to life through well-crafted project documents.
Collaborating and contributing by checking and reviewing fellow engineers’ designs.
Staying at the forefront of industry changes, bringing fresh insights to our projects.
Actively participating in our culture of continuous improvement.
Contributing to our growth by developing new products and services.
Cultivating positive client relationships and engaging in meaningful client communications.
Monitoring project performance with a commitment to quality and timely delivery.

As the successful candidate you will :

Bring 2-3 years of post-graduation experience to our dynamic team.
Hold a Post Graduate Qualification in Fire Engineering.
Showcase your developing technical knowledge and commitment to excellence.
Demonstrate your project management skills, ensuring quality work within timelines.
Embody a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
Communicate effectively, without the need for buzzwords.
Possess a keen commercial acumen and strong stakeholder management skills.
