At the end of May 2016 Michael James attended the international Society of Fire Protection Engineers 11th ‘Performance-Based Codes and Fire Safety Design Methods Conference’ in Warsaw, Poland.

The conference was held over three days, with more than 50 fascinating presentations and 15 case studies presented by different countries and Michael says, “I was very impressed with the calibre and quality of the presentations, and it was a privilege to present at this event.”

Michael presented his paper ‘The New Zealand Verification Method VM2 – four years on’.
