Electronics engineering and service as a volunteer firefighter came together for Allen in the mid-nineties and led him to a rewarding career in the fire protection industry.

A business management degree meant Allen was well suited to a management role in the sector but it was his strong desire to get back into engineering that more recently led him to Origin Fire.

Huntly born, and Auckland based, Allen loves the variety his role as Team Leader, Passive Fire at Origin Fire offers.

Experienced in the compliance side of the industry and highly knowledgeable about fire protection systems, Allen is delighted to be joining a team passionate about passive fire safety and keen to share their expertise.
